Job Description
Ready to take on the challenge of fascinating analytics in a great team?
- Develop robust analytical methods for various analytical techniques centered around microscopy and physical characterization testing, such as optical microscopy, SEM, EDX, TEM, MFI, light obscuration, FT-IR, viscosity, or osmolality testing.
- Planning, developing, and executing feasibility studies, method development, and method validation according to ICH guidelines, including preparing and reviewing technical documents.
- Conduct analytical testing in compliance with GMP and ISO9001 standards.
- Ensuring the timely completion of projects and delivering high-quality results to clients.
- Conducting troubleshooting activities, addressing both methodological and instrumental challenges to ensure reliable and accurate analysis.
- Provide scientific and technical support to customers, both individual and as part of larger project teams.
- Take over responsibility for analytical instrumentation (troubleshooting, data integrity and coordination with suppliers)
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and scientific excellence.
Requirements
- Degree in chemistry, pharmacy, forensics, biology or comparable natural science degree
- Hands on experience with microscopy light and/or electron microscopy and corresponding sample preparation techniques
- Experience in one or more of the following is advantageous: Microscopy/imaging with one or more of the following (Light microscopy, SEM, FTIR or Raman imaging, subvisible particle analysis, Micro-flow imaging, FTIR, viscosity, osmolality, or rheology techniques.
- Experience in method development and validation, including technical documentation.
- Experience in quality events, deviations or out-of-specification process and documentation is advantageous
- Proactive with a can-do attitude and very good communication skills and scientific writing skills
- Work experience in a GMP regulated environment is an advantage.
- Team player with a strong service mentality and sense of responsibility
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of German is advantageous.
