Lab Technician Microscopy Imaging

Job Description

Ready to take on the challenge of fascinating analytics in a great team?

  • Process customer orders, initially focusing on microscopy routine analysis (light obscuration, Osmolality, micro flow imaging, optical microscopy with opportunity to expand into more techniques such as electron microscopy. 
  • Independently organize and conduct analysis of customer orders, including sample preparation, analysis, evaluation, and documentation. 
  • Collaborate with scientists on method validations. 
  • Work in a GMP laboratory environment. 
  • Take over responsibility for analytical instrumentation (troubleshooting, data integrity and coordination with suppliers).

Requirements

  • Education as lab technician with focus on analytics or comparable education
  • Professional experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience with microscopy techniques such as light obscuration, optical microscopy, SEM, EDX, MFI, including the sample preparation, is an advantage.
  • Excellent understanding of analytical chemistry and excitement to learn new analysis techniques.
  • Experience with pharmacopoeias (Ph. Eur and USP) testing is advantageous. 
  • LIMS and Chromeleon knowledge preferable. 
  • Proactive, committed, reliable and hard working. 
  • Good knowledge of English. German is an advantage.
