Account Manager

Job Description

Solvias NL, part of the international Solvias Group, is a fast-growing biotech Contract Research Organization (CRO) located at the Utrecht Science Park. We are a leading provider of high-end genetic Quality Control solutions in the fields of cell-line development, cell and gene therapy, and transgenic models, worldwide. It is our mission to improve the quality and safety of genetic research and human healthcare. With our market share and customer base rapidly expanding, we are currently looking for a talented Account Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Elaboration of sales tactics and action plans to consistently achieve order targets.
  • Convince scientific and commercial contacts of our unique service.
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and transform them into quotes.
  • Follow up on sales opportunities and submit a forecast on a regular basis via a CRM.
  • Represent Solvias NL at conferences and customer visits.
  • Proactively manage a set of given accounts and new business inquiries.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Degree in life sciences (molecular biology / genetic engineering experience is preferred).
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Being able to commute to the office in Utrecht at least 2 days per week.
  • Travel within Europe up to 20%. • Understand and discuss scientific concepts.
  • Independent self-starter with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player, proactive, and constructive mindset.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • EU citizen or work permit.
