Job Description

Develop robust analytical methods in GC-MS and LC-MS for small molecules, including feasibility studies, development, and validation
Coordinate international customer projects focused on trace analysis (e.g., genotoxic impurities) using GC-MS and LC-MS
Conduct analytical testing in compliance with GMP and ISO9001 standards
Prepare and review technical documents, including analytical method development reports, protocols, and analytical test procedures
Drive innovation by implementing new technologies and strategies to enhance analytical capabilities
Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support to internal teams and clients
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and scientific excellence
Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to regulatory requirements
Manage/coordinate quality events, deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) as required
Ensure all activities adhere to applicable regulatory, quality, and safety standards
Review and analyze data to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards

Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Sciences, or a related field
Strong experience with LC-MS and GC-MS instrumentation and techniques, including method development, validation, and troubleshooting with at least 5 years of experience specializing in mass spectrometry, particularly in quantitative trace analysis
Proven experience in a GMP-regulated environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent customer relationships
Collaborative team player who is eager to share knowledge and contribute to the team’s success while continuously improving personal capabilities
High level of discipline, sense of responsibility, and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage
